Cosmic Bubble is a synthwave / retrowave group from Singapore that writes uplifting, melodic songs and makes 80s / 90s influenced remixes - like the remix above of Asher Postman - Walk Away (feat. Annelisa Franklin) for the Armada University remix contest, and the one below of the 2020 National Day Parade song 'Because of who you are'.

What inspired you to make this music?
For the Asher Postman remix competition, we wanted to do a different take on dance remixes. Since we love the music of the 80s and 90s, we wanted to see how this would work for an EDM song. We liked the result and we'll try it out on future remixes as well.
For the National Day Parade song, the original version was a nice slow song. We decided to give it an upbeat interpretation with a synthwave touch.
What kept you making music in 2020?
Throughout the year. we saw many fellow musicians making more music which in turn encouraged us to write and remix more of our own. It helped that we had no more work-related travel. which gave us more time to work on our music. With so much doom and gloom in the news, we think the world can always do with more happy and hopeful music. In 2021, we'll be releasing our originals, which will also be uplifting synthwave songs.
About this blog series
