Here are some of the most common questions asked by isitors to the EML SLF (Student Life Fair) booth. More than 250 people visited our EML booth on Day 1 alone, so we had a lot to choose from!
1. What I don't know music / don't have experience?
A: We will teach you!
2. What software do you use?
A. Our Tutors teach in Ableton Live. If you're already experienced in FL or Logic then you can learn from seniors who also use FL or Logic.
3. What is the commitment?
A. We meet every Saturday afternoon during term time, 1 to 5pm
4. What happens if I have to skip some lessons?
A. You can try to catch up, if you don't miss too many
5. I already make my own music in Ableton / Logic / FL
A. Good! You can learn advanced techniques from our seniors and Tutors
6. Are these instruments used at every session?
A. Yes we use these instruments regularly if you join the Live Performance Track. For the Music Production Track you only need laptop every week. All of us will use the instruments for our live shows.
8. What is the difference between the DJ club and EML?
A. DJs play music that has already been created, we create our own music
9. What do you guys do ?
