Electronic musicians and synthesists Christopher Ong, Khew Sin Sun, Peter Waszecki, and Patrick Donze used the classic Fritz Lang 1927 film, Metropolis, as the inspiration to perform their own, all-new scores for the film. The show finale was an improvised live modular synth jam by all of them.

The event was co-organised by Keny Png, Patrick Donze, and Kristiann Wilson, with the concept that "4 different performers will chainsaw the original movie with control voltage into their own unique narratives. To perform 4 different movements that blend film and modular synthesis to retell the story of Metropolis for a modern audience."
